Our local village of Saint Pois with a bakery, bar, restaurant, pharmacy, petrol station and a small supermarket is only a few minutes drive away. The larger town of Brecey with a weekly farmers market, large supermarket, restaurants and bars is a 10 minute drive.
We are within easy reach of the Landmark, Mont Saint Michel and many other popular places to visit including Saint Malo, the World War ll Landing Beaches, the beautiful coastal area of Granville and other beaches approximately 45 minutes away.
For the more adventurous La Luge is a fun day out for all the family with a toboggan ride, Zip wire and Bungee jumping plus other activities for the smaller ones. There is also a restaurant and picnic areas.
There are 2 very good Zoos in the area, our favourite being the one in Champrepus.
There is also reptile zoo called Alligator bay.
The Enchanted village is 10 minutes away with numerous activities and perfect for kids under 10.
Vire Golf course is close by and open to the general public. It is a great course with a nice club house. I can personally recommend it as I play there regularly myself.
Lake Dathee is 15 minutes away is an ideal cycling spot and offers a man made beach, lovely walks and summer evening concerts.
Go Karting. Around 15 minutes away. Good fun and catering for both inexperienced and experienced karters.
Bayeaux Tapestry Museum. One of the most famous tourist attractions in Normandy following the story of the conquest of England in 1066.
